Boar’s Head
I went to my cousin Jeff’s wedding this weekend and had an absolute blast. We stayed at a great resort in Charlottesville the Boar’s Head Inn. It was great catching up with family and various other people that I have not seen in a good while. Now I have to get back to the everyday hustle.

All my cousins on my Mom’s side of the family.

My Dad and me at the reception party
Techno Viking….makes me smile
Today I was inspired to try and get a passport so that I would have it in case I made it big and had to leave the country quickly….no but really I just wanted to get my passport in case I wanted to do something this coming year. So I went online and filled out the required form, got my proof of citizenship, and identification ready to go so I would be prepared. So I head to the post office (I do not know about the rest of America but there are only a few places on the face of the earth that really just piss me off as soon as I step foot there: DMV, Wal-Mart, and the post office) I arrive during my lunch break after checking online to see if I needed to make an appointment before just showing up. This post office did not say that I had to make an appointment so I heading to that office. Once I arrived I saw the door that said passport processing or whatever it said followed by a sign that said by appointment only. I knew at that moment that I had just wasted half of my lunch break because I was about to deal with a government run institution. The door was cracked and I could clearly see there was no one in there except for a gentlemen sitting at a computer so I walked up and knocked on the cracked door…the door was abrutly slammed in my face. I thought “Ok its cool just chill not a big deal…I’m just going to to call that number on the door and set an appointment.” So I dial the number and am greeted by the normal enthusiasm of a postal worker. I said that I needed to set up an appointment to do all the stuff for a passport he asked me when was a good time…I looked at my watch it read 12:32 pm…I responded a 12:30 appointment would work for me because I had just arrived. The answer that I got to my request was priceless, “I am sorry Sir but since it is passed 12:30 the next available appointment we have is at 1.” I laughed and hung up the phone and left…This great experience reminds me why I really would like for our Government to be running as much of this country as possible (including Health Care) because when I think Government I think efficiency (I hope you can sense the sarcaism).
